If you have to have your ice cream like i do, then there is no other solution to scooping ice cream. This is best possible scooper out on the planet today.it has a nice big handle with easy comfort, and a large scoop for getting a lot of ice cream.Would i buy again. Hell Yeah.I got mine as a gift, and then I bought 3 to give as gifts, because its DYNOMITE.

It can't be washed in the dishwasher either. This ice cream spade works exactly as it should. The disappointment is the metal spade part discolors when placed in water and not dried off immediately.Therefore it does not look nice. The price is a high, to. With the looks limitation, it shouldn't cost more than $5.00.
I do like the size of the scooper, but the silver scooper part is chipping. I am still using it because I like the size & weight of it, but disapointed in the chipping. The handle & grip is nice as are the other OXO products I have bought.
This is the best spade ever because of the handle: the soft end of the handle cushions your palm while you dig into super hard ice cream. If you like your hard ice cream really hard, then this is the spade for you.
